This Pub with rooms and restaurant is set in a tiny Exmoor village. There is this one pub, a village shop, wonderful walking and riding country as soon as you step out of the front door. The people and staff are friendly. The bars are genuine olde world with a genuine olde world barman, who will along with his waiting staff, serve you great food and Exmoor ale. Wonderful weekend retreat.

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Royal Oak Withypool. Meal in the bar (from the restaurant menu) was superb - first class. Best English breakfast I've had for years. Would definitely recommend. We will be going back in near future.
